Who We Are

PlayProbe (playprobe.io) is operated by Drages Studio, based in Czechia, EU. For privacy matters, you can contact us at [email protected]. For personal data processed through PlayProbe, Drages Studio acts as the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What Data We Collect

We collect only the data needed to run and improve PlayProbe.

  • Account data: email address, display name, and password hash handled through Supabase Auth.
  • Usage data: tests created, sessions run, and feedback responses submitted.
  • Technical data: IP address (for security), browser type, and device type.
  • Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
  • Tester profiles: gaming preferences and platform preferences, if you create a tester account.
  • Unity SDK data: session duration, FPS metrics, custom game events, and crash reports. We do not collect personal device data through the SDK.
  • Screen recordings: only when enabled by the developer and after you grant permission. Recordings are stored for 30 days and deleted automatically.

Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)

  • Account data: contract performance, so we can provide the PlayProbe service.
  • Analytics and usage data: legitimate interests, to improve reliability and product quality.
  • Payment processing: contract performance.
  • Screen recordings: consent, which is requested explicitly and can be declined.

How We Use Your Data

We use personal data to run the platform, manage accounts, process billing, send transactional emails (such as session notifications and test results), and improve the product. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who We Share It With

We share data only with service providers needed to operate PlayProbe:

  • Supabase (database and authentication), hosted in the EU region.
  • Stripe (payments), with a data processing agreement in place.
  • Resend (transactional email delivery).

We do not share data with any other third parties.

Data Retention

  • Active account data is retained while your account remains active.
  • Session recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Deleted account data is removed within 30 days of a deletion request.

Your GDPR Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your personal data, as well as to restrict processing and object to processing in applicable cases. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

PlayProbe is not intended for users under 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of PlayProbe after notification means you accept the updated policy.
